Trailer debuts for ADELLE. A feature length horror film shot in Maine.

On Sunday, Abandoned Cinema announced the completion of principle production on the company's first film, "Adelle." They also posted a teaser trailer for the film, which can be seen by going to: http://www.abandonedcinema.com/trailers.htm "We're very excited for the debut of our first film. "Adelle." is a dark carnival ride that we cannot wait to share with the audience. It is a cryptic marriage between art and horror." said Abandoned Cinema co-founder Sandy McKeon.

"Adelle." tells the tale of a young deaf girl who is left in the middle of nowhere by her parents in the 1930's. Adelle is forced to try and survive based on her very limited life skills. Along the way, her voyage turns into a very dark, horrifying trip.

"Adelle." takes its viewers on a disturbing trip, as seen through the eyes of a mute child in a terrifying world. "We set out to make a very trippy, scary film from the perspective of the child. We came out of production very happy with the work we accomplished." said co-writer/director Andy Davis.

"Adelle." was written by children's poetry author Sandy McKeon and horror filmmaker Andy Davis. "Adelle." marks the 7th film for Davis as director. His other films include: MUD, 2, I'M SORRY and the upcoming THE WRONG HOUSE, alongside Executive Producer Olin Smith.

McNulty can be seen in the upcoming film THE PRIVATE LIVES OF PIPPA LEE, which she stars in alongside Robin Wright Penn.

"We are waiting for feedback on the first teaser trailer as we head into post production. We are hoping the audience we made the film for finds out about our film and responds favorably. That's what it all comes down to really for any film." said Davis.

"Adelle." is currently in post production. For more information, visit www.abandonedcinema.com.
