Welcome to the Maine Media Mentorship (M3) program. M3 has been established to help Maine citizens gain valuable training, insights and industry contacts by connecting them one-on-one with professional mentors in the visual-media production industry.
The M3 program is overseen by the Maine Film Office and the Maine Film Commission with support of the Maine Office of Business Development, the Maine Film and Video Association and IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts) Local 481.
People chosen as mentees must have experience and/or education in the media production industry prior to applying for the program. During the mentorship, mentees will hone a specific skill and gain important contacts within the industry. Program mentors are Maine visual-media production veterans who wish to share their knowledge and insights with other Mainers.
